Days soon forgotten

Only one random photo taken from an uneventful week. It will have to do.

After maybe two weeks, the temperature has risen above zero in Helsinki, meaning that the sidewalks are now slippery. Had to be careful where I stepped outside. Otherwise very slow week with nothing much to write about, but that is okay.

This week I read a book, Mikko Hyppönen‘s “Internet” (apparently the English version is named “If It’s Smart, It’s Vulnerable”). It was an easy and quick read of Mikko’s thoughts and anecdotes on the cybersecurity field. The way it was written felt like it was made for the new generation of reader’s who would lose patience if a chapter is longer than ten pages. In fact, the average length of one chapter was four pages. Worked for me, anyways.

I also finished the video game Control. Good game and while it allows to continue the game in a logical way after the main story, I just got tired with the lack of variation in combat and called it a day. Sony’s annual PlayStation Warp-Up actually revealed I’ve played over 400 hours with my PS5 since June, so I’m taking a break from gaming in general until Christmas at least.

Control has done its part of promoting Finland as a travel destination.
