Finally some rain and the temperature falling below 20 degrees. How times have changed when this is a welcomed change in the middle of summer.
After a small hiatus, I went to watch some movies again, four in total: the new Indiana Jones, The Little Mermaid (the new one), a music documentary of Little Richard and then an old Disney animation The Black Cauldron I saw the last time when I was a kid.
Indiana and the Mermaid movies were decent movies, but I was somewhat puzzled again how some people are hellbent on trying to make the most critical reviews possible online. I can understand they simply attract more clicks, but the absolute hate is unnecessary when considering how many people have worked hard on creating these movies despite what the final result is.
Maybe a month ago I started reading Crime & Punishment I borrowed from the library as an ebook. Unfortunately the borrow time was only for two weeks, in which time I read maybe a third of the book. Once I could borrow it again for two weeks (the waiting queue was around one month), I didn’t have the energy to start reading it again and it got expired again. Then I borrowed a physical version of it, only to notice it was missing pages.

So now for the first time I bought my own copy of it for my e-reader. Kind of disappointing that the digital version was more expensive than the physical one. Anyways, now I can continue reading it at my own relaxed pace.
