Mid-summer, a day was at its longest of the year and now they are slowly starting to get shorter again. It has been really dry and it shows with some tree leaves already withering. I wouldn’t mind if it rained more and the weather being a bit cooler so I can sleep better too.
Nothing much been happening after my short visit to Norway, just getting out of the apartment once a day felt like a small victory. In my boredom I’ve been playing a bit more of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin.
I even got stuck in a boss fight that I had to retry probably a hundred times before I slowly started to admit I need to concentrate on what is going on and eventually managed to win the beast. In a way, it made me realize it has been a long time since I had to seriously react quickly in a game this intense. Hopefully it is good for the brain.
As for my half-marathon project, visit to a massage confirmed that I’m suffering from shin splints, which means I need to take it easy with running for a moment, which is a bummer. I guess more cycling then instead.
I’ll close this post with a track I’ve been listening to lately, I guess it fits with summer for me.
