Taisto Martiskainen: Crescendo / A Memorial to those who fell in the 1918 (civil war).
Past week was very lazy. But write I will to keep the blog streak going (though I don’t feel like writing one now).
Weather has been nice, next topic.
It was eight weeks ago when I started my half-marathon plan in my running app. The plan is 14 weeks long and now I realized I’ve completed only the first three so far. This is because I’m taking more resting days than the default schedule, but the plan actually encourages me to take it in my own pace. So I have.
I watched two films by Aki Kaurismäki, Shadows in Paradise and Ariel. In addition to the laconic humor of working class hardships, they are beautiful snapshots of Helsinki in the 80s. The city sure has changed a lot as expected since then. Maybe I’ll start a Kaurismäki marathon as well.
I’ll throw a few “creations” from Midjourney to end this post. Thinking about how its AI is creating tons of these every minute to millions(?) of users, I again wonder are they that personal creations in the end. As time goes on, less so.
