Taking it lazy

Bright skies and warm weather lately.

A slightly longer pause writing here as there is nothing much to add from my previous post: I’ve been sleeping well, doing light exercises, reading books and playing a bit of Forspoken (still in the same chapter as I can’t seem to stop just wandering around the open world gathering small loot).

Warped landscapes caused by a disaster (in the game Forspoken).

I did go for a walk in the Nuuksio National Park, which is accessible by public transport, though I must admit sitting in buses for around three hours does eat away a bit of the overall enjoyment of the day, especially if you miss a connecting bus and have to wait for the next one half an hour. Still pleased I went.

I also went to see an old anime classic Ghost in the Shell, which I haven’t seen on a big screen and in ages anyway. The dialog was still dense as ever, especially with subtitles trying to keep up by giving only a split second to read them, but I think I managed to follow the story and its soul/machine themes well enough. I’ll probably watch the Hollywood version again just for fun (I don’t remember it being that bad).

Oh, I forgot to mention the weather. It is getting warmer now and indoors the temperature is already around 23 degrees (my apartment’s air conditioning is really bad in handling the summer months). I better dig out my fan soon to ease the melting sensation.
