Effort and completion

A glow between the clouds and frozen sea. Spring is slowly creeping in.

The past week’s best effort was going for a jog after over a month’s break. Winter months are not my favourite time to do it due to cold weather and slippery roads. Excuses, but of course I would rather run on a warm summer evening. Felt good anyway.

Otherwise recent days been rather uneventful from my part. Aside from work, I was just grinding another video game which I thankfully also managed to complete. It was another Final Fantasy game, the not so praised Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII (PS3), the final chapter in the FFXIII trilogy. Maybe more about that in another post, I’m just glad I finished it so I can do something else. Like read a book.

As for music I’ve been listening to, Pigs x 7’s recent new album Land of Sleeper is pretty good. Kelela’s Raven has also won a play button click a few times, although I tend to get bored halfway and switch to something else, like Taylor Swift’s Midnights for some reason (very easy listening music). When I want to sterilize my mind, I pick Ryoji Ikeda’s Supercodex. And still when I want to just blast something, it is Suede’s Autofiction.

Otherwise can’t think about anything else worth a mention. I’m glad I could muster even this much.
