Deeper into autumn

Autumn is getting chillier. What have I been up to?

The Love & Anarchy Festival is well over. It was a good one and none of the eleven movies I saw were a complete waste of time. I didn’t see any mind blowing one either, but I think I enjoyed The Past the most. The lush, slow dismantling of strained relationships between various people was beautifully directed and supported by some great acting.

In the video gaming front, I managed to finish Heavy Rain, which is a kind of an interactive story where the player’s actions and decisions affect the ending of the game. Although the pacing of the storyline and the occasional odd decisions by some of the playable characters were annoying, I still enjoyed the overall experience. I’m looking forward to the same game developer’s next release, Beyond: Two Souls.

Otherwise, nothing much to report. Yoga, yes. Pilates, no. Today I’ll go and see Ane Brun‘s live concert. Not expecting much, so there is room for a positive surprise.
